Malvern, Zetasizer Nano ZSP

Malvern, Zetasizer Nano ZSP

It is used to measure the particle size (hydrodynamic diameter) and size distribution of dispersed nanoparticles (metal/metal oxide nanoparticles, organic nanoparticles, emulsions and liposomes etc.) ranging in size from sub-nanometer (~0.3 nm) to micrometres (~10 μm), using the principle of Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS). This instrument can also analyse the particle mobility and zeta potential of particles having a size range between 3.8 nm to 100 μm using the technique of Electrophoretic Light Scattering (ELS). Zeta potential measurement is generally very useful to determine the stability of dispersed nanoparticles.

While submitting the sample, please mention the solvent in which the nanoparticles are dispersible.
