Water and Wastewater Analysis

Water and Wastewater Analysis

1. BOD Respirometric Sensor System

BOD Sensor Systems at SBASSE, LUMS consist of a 6-position stirring unit complete with 6 BOD sensors, 6 alkali holders for absorbing the carbon dioxide and 6 stirring bars. The RESPIROMETRIC Sensor also has a measuring sensor designed to perform multiple respiration and degradation tests in a wide range of application such as Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) for aerobic and anaerobic degradation tests for Industrial and Domestic water quality testing. It measures the results in millibar and mg/L.

Capabilities
  1. Aerobic analysis of samples with the same sensor.
  2. Measurement of industrial and domestic water quality samples with minimum footprint.
  3. Measurement period of BOD: 5 to 30 days.

2. Thermoreactor CR 2200

CR 2200 allows standard digestion with programs for COD, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, TOC and heavy metals. The high reaction temperature over a defined period ensures a complete digestion of the sample. For COD, an additional program for fast digestion (148°C, 120 min) is available. CR 2200 is ideal for routine water analysis tests with small sample amounts. It can test 12 samples simultaneously.

Capabilities
  1. Safe and easy operation with automatic heating and switch-off for standard digestions
  2. Rapid digestion.
  3. Programs for routine tests.
  4. Easy, quick operation for standard parameters.
